MODELS WE TINT

The Porsche Models We Tint Most

911

The 911 is the one that separates real installers from the rest. The rear glass is one of the toughest shrinks in the business, with a steep rake and tight curvature, and the frameless door glass leaves no trim to hide an edge behind. The film has to be perfect because everything shows. Our installers have shaped film to that glass for years, and it is honestly some of our favorite work.

Taycan

The Taycan brings a different challenge. Like every EV, it depends on constant connectivity, so metallic films are off the table. We install signal-safe nano-ceramic film that never touches your GPS, key fob, or mobile connection, and the infrared rejection lightens the load on the climate system, which is good news for your range. If you want the deeper EV story, our Tesla and EV tint page covers it.

Cayenne, Macan & Panamera

Cayenne and Macan owners make up most of the Porsches we see in San Antonio, and most arrive with the same misconception: that the dark factory glass in the back is already doing the job. That glass is tinted for privacy, not engineered for heat. A layer of clear or matching ceramic film over it changes summer inside that cabin completely. Both models also carry big panoramic roofs, and yes, we film those too. Panamera owners, your long frameless doors are in equally good hands.

Film Selection

Why Ceramic Film Belongs on a Porsche

We install 3M Crystalline and 3M ColorStable, both non-metallic nano-ceramic films. Crystalline is the interesting one for Porsche owners because it rejects massive infrared heat in a nearly clear film. Your leather and Alcantara stay protected from UV fade, the cabin stays cooler through a 100 degree San Antonio summer, and the car still looks exactly the way it left Stuttgart. Everything we install carries a lifetime warranty.

Our Process

Computer-Cut Patterns,
Never a Blade on Your Car

Every pattern is plotter-cut by computer to your exact model and year before it ever meets the vehicle. No hand trimming against your glass, your seals, or your paint. The result is a factory-finish edge on a car where the edges are always visible.

Compliance

A Quick Word on Texas Law

Texas requires front side windows to allow at least 25 percent of light through, the windshield can carry a strip above the AS-1 line, and the rear can go as dark as you like with side mirrors in place. We will keep you legal and looking right. Full details on our Texas window tint laws page.

FAQ

Porsche Tint FAQs

Will window tint interfere with my Taycan's electronics or connectivity?

No. We only install non-metallic nano-ceramic film on EVs, so your GPS, key fob, sensors, and mobile signal work exactly as they did before. Metallic films are the ones that cause trouble, and we keep them away from your Taycan.

Can you tint the rear window on a 911?

Yes. The 911 rear glass takes a one-piece shrink that demands real experience, and our installers have plenty of it. You get a single clean piece of film with no seams and no bubbles.

Do you tint panoramic roofs on the Cayenne and Panamera?

We do. Ceramic film on a panoramic roof knocks down the overhead heat load dramatically, which matters more in San Antonio than almost anywhere else.

My Porsche is garage-kept and I want to preserve the look. What film should I choose?

3M Crystalline in a light shade. It is nearly clear, so the car looks untouched, but it still blocks 99 percent of UV and a huge share of infrared heat. It is the collector's choice for exactly that reason.
